Oxnard, CA - LVH Entertainment Systems of Oxnard has promoted Harvey Sweet to Vice-President of Rigging Systems. For the past four years, Mr. Sweet has been a senior designer, estimator and project manager for LVH. As vice president, Mr. Sweet will be instrumental in business development and expanding sales in theatrical rigging systems.
He brings a wealth of education and experience to the position. Mr Sweet has a BS in Theatre Arts and Speech, a Masters in Theatre Technology and Design, and a PhD in Scene Design Criticism. His real-life experience in theatrical rigging standards and safety is extensive, having worked in the industry for over 20 years.
After working as a lighting technician/designer for several years, he became a set and prop builder for Scenery West. From there he joined Angstrom Stage Lighting as their rental manager. He's also been an Apple Computer consultant. Now, he'll provide LVH and our customers the benefits of his knowledge and experience.
